In 2024, Rollco will
elebrate its 25th anniversary. It has been 25 fantastic years that have offered a journey filled with constant development and innovation. Read about how it all started and how Rollco has grown over the years to become what it is today.

Once a upon a time…

1999, another decade, another century, another millenium. It was the year when Nokia dominated the mobile phone market and a 3210 was the trendiest mobile phone to own. It was also the year when Rollco first saw the light of day.
By combining a good business idea with great knowledge in automation and sales and then seasoning it with a strong driving force, the first steps were taken towards what would become a success story.Nokia 3210
In the years that have passed, both Rollco and the technology around us have undergone an impressive development.

The Nokia 3210 lacked both WAP (Wireless Application Protocol, the first solution to be able to display the Internet on mobile phones, about 50,000 times slower than today's 4G) and protruding antenna.

1999–2011

For the first four years, Rollco was part of the Rollon group, in 2004 the four founders bought the company from Rollon and changed the name to Rollco. This change marked the start of an expansive journey where Rollco not only increased its market share but also acquired companies to broaden its product range.

From the first years, having only been active in Sweden and Denmark, in 2007 the company had expanded to Finland, Norway & Taiwan. The Taiwan office created opportunities to support customers who were moving their production to Asia while providing a platform to forge closer ties with their Asian suppliers.

In 2010, the company Svedamo was acquired and thus broadened Rollco´s product portfolio to also include aluminum profiles. At the same time, Rollco had outgrown their premises and the head office with warehouse and workshop was moved to a new, larger property on Väla norra in Helsingborg.

2012–2024

In 2012, Rollco became part of the technology solutions group Addtech. A group that shares many of Rollco's values such as passion for entrepreneurship and customer focus. The new ownership structure opened up for further growth and development.

In 2016, they once again needed to expand their premises. The warehouse and workshop were extended and three new vertical storage lifts were installed to optimize the new warehouse area, which now measured just over 2250 m2.

In 2017, Rollco strengthened its presence in the Danish market by acquiring Altitech A/S, a Danish company specialized in aluminum profiles and machine stands. Through the purchase, they gained access to both a warehouse and workshop locally on Zealand in Denmark, as well as extensive knowledge and competence through Altitech's employees who joined Rollco.

In 2023, construction began on Rollco's new headquarters and workshop in Helsingborg, planned to be ready for occupancy in the summer of 2024.
